Bayern Munich Re-Sign Former Player
Bayern Munich have officially announced on Monday that they have re-signed Armindo Sepp from Greuther Fürth, taking advantage of the buy-back option for the 21-year-old striker after he joined the German second division club in the summer of 2022. "Sepp's new contract in Munich runs until June 30, 2027. He will spend the next two seasons on loan at Mainz," the club said in a statement on its official website. "We have been closely monitoring Armindo over the two years he has been at Fürth. He has progressed very well, especially last season," said Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund. "He was among the best players in his age group in terms of goal contributions in the second division in 2023/24. Armindo is a very fast and aggressive player. He fits in well with Mainz with his style, and the Bundesliga is now the next logical step for him."
