Ronaldo Records A Shocking Negative Number

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, the Saudi Al-Nasr player, scored a negative score after he participated in his country’s defeat against its Georgia counterpart, with a clean double, in the match that brought together the two teams in the third round of the group stage of the European Nations “Euro 2024”. Opta, the global network specializing in statistics, reported that Cristiano Ronaldo failed to score in the group stage of a major international tournament (World Cup/European Cup) for the first time in his football career. Ronaldo participated with the Portugal national team as a starter in the three group stage matches against the Czech Republic (2-1), Turkey (3-0) and Georgia (2-0), but he failed to score. The Portuguese star had previously scored in the group stage of the previous ten international tournaments in which he played, namely the European Cup 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020. The former Real Madrid legend also scored in the group stage of the World Cup tournaments in the 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022 editions.
