Fractures Of The Skull And Neck Of The Hungarian Star

The Hungarian Football Association announced the success of the emergency surgery that player Barnabas Varga underwent, after the horrific injury he suffered in the match against Scotland, last Sunday, in the European Nations Championship (Euro 2024), as a result of his collision with the opposing goalkeeper, Angus Gunn. Varga fell to the ground and lost consciousness, and the match was stopped for 7 minutes, before he was taken off the field and taken to the hospital. The Hungarian Federation confirmed that Varga's condition was stable, after a successful surgery, due to multiple fractures in the skull and neck. The Hungarian Federation announced that Varga will be able to leave the hospital in Stuttgart, Germany, next Wednesday.
