The Netherlands Is Armed With A Perfect Record Against Austria

The Netherlands national team is armed with a wonderful record in the recent confrontations it played against its counterpart, the Austria national team, in various tournaments, before the meeting that brings them together this evening, Tuesday, in the third and final round of the group stage of the European Nations Cup, “Euro 2024”, currently being held in Germany. Statistics reveal that the Dutch Windmills maintained their record undefeated in the last seven matches against Austria, as they achieved victory in all of these matches, which is the longest current series of defeats against a single competitor for the Austrian national team. Austria's last victory over the Netherlands dates back to May 1990 in a friendly match in Vienna with a score of (3-2). The Netherlands also won its previous two matches in major tournaments against Austria, winning 5-1 in the 1978 World Cup, and 2-0 in Euro 2020 .
