Preventing The Raising Of Palestinian And Israeli Flags At Euro 2024

Organizers announced that neither Palestinian nor Israeli flags will be allowed in fan zones during the UEFA Euro 2024 soccer tournament in Berlin, Germany. This decision was confirmed by a spokeswoman for the “Kulture Project” company, which is responsible for managing the tournament’s cultural events. Moritz van Dulmen, the tournament's managing director, explained that the aim of this decision is to prevent demonstrations and political tensions during the tournament, especially in light of the continuing war in Gaza. Two fan zones will be allocated in the German capital, and only fans will be allowed to raise the flags of the 24 countries participating in the tournament. The decision aims to provide a safe and stress-free environment for fans, and focus attention on the sporting aspect of the tournament. It is known that the 2024 European Nations Cup will be held in Germany, and all matches of the tournament will be broadcast on giant screens in the fan zones, where everyone will be able to follow the events and celebrate sports in a safe and peaceful manner.
