Ibrahimovic's retirement is a reality and inevitable this season

AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli announced yesterday the final squad to face its counterpart Venezia tonight. The list witnessed the absence of Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic because of injury.
The Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the veteran AC Milan player, is close to retire permanently at the end of the current season, especially since Ibrahimovic has reached the age of 40.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic had previously told Sky Italia when the AC Milan coach asked him what he would do before the start of the current season, and his response was he does not want to continue, and that much is enough, saying that his family also has a role in his life.
Injuries also prevented him from appearing continuously with AC Milan during the 24 months, as he became exposed to injuries quickly due to his advanced age. It takes long time Zlatan to recover from injury and thus, the veteran striker cannot take part in several matches with his team.
Possibly Zlatan would take part with his team against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. It is worth noting that Liverpool beat the Rossoneri 3-2 in the first round of the group stage of the Champions League.
