The Tottenham statement said: “We can confirm the departure of Eric Dier, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon and Japhet Tanganga after the expiration of their contracts.” He added: “We said goodbye to both Eric and Ivan in January when they headed off to join their new club, initially on loan.” Defender Erik joined Bayern Munich, having made 365 appearances and scored 13 goals during his nine-and-a-half years with us, while left winger Ivan joined Hajduk Split, having made 50 appearances for us and scored one goal beyond his only goal. Arriving in 2022. Their contracts with us have now expired. With the 2023/24 season over, we now bid farewell to Ryan and Tanganga. Left-back Ryan joined us from Fulham in 2019 and made 57 appearances for us, scoring three goals. He also had a loan spell in Germany with Hoffenheim in 2020/21. Centre-back Gavitt is a product of our academy system and enjoyed an impressive season at first-team level with us in 2019/20, making his Premier League debut right off the bat against Liverpool in January of that season. Gavitt made 50 competitive appearances for our club before embarking on loan spells at FC Augsburg in Germany and most recently at Millwall during the recently concluded season. We thank Eric, Evan, Ryan and Javitt for their service to the club and wish them all the best for the future.
