Real Madrid Decides Modric's Future After Winning The Champions League

Florentino Perez, president of the Spanish club Real Madrid, confirmed that veteran Croatian star Luka Modric will remain with the team for another season, after winning the Champions League title, for the fifteenth time in its history, on Saturday evening. Real Madrid achieved victory over German club Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final, with a clean double, at Wembley Stadium in London. Florentino Perez said in statements to Sky Sports: “I think that Luka Modric will stay with us.” A final meeting remains between Perez and Modric, and his renewal contracts with the Merengue will be signed for another new additional season. Modric succeeded, during his 12 years with Real Madrid, in Winning many titles, including 6 European Champions League titles, 4 Club World Cup titles, in addition to 4 European Super Cup titles and the same number of Spanish League titles, 5 Spanish Super Cup titles, and two Spanish King’s Cup titles.
