Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli have parted ways with former Brazil midfielder Paulinho by mutual consent due to emergency circumstances, less than two months after the 33-year-old signed for the Jeddah-based team.
The official account of Al-Ahly Club published on the social networking site “Twitter” an official statement, announcing the termination of the contract with the Brazilian star Paulinho, revealing the reasons.
Al-Ahli explained in the statement: “The termination of the contract with Paulinho comes, due to his emergency circumstances, which he spoke with the club’s management recently, which reflected on his performance on the field technically and mentally during the past rounds, expressing his inability to provide the desired addition to the team.”
