Muller: We Were Subjected To Ridiculous Arbitration Injustice
Thomas Muller, the German star of Bayern Munich, confirmed that his team was subjected to refereeing injustice during the confrontation with Spanish Real Madrid, which the latter won in his favor with a score of 2-1, on Wednesday evening, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the Champions League competition. "The refereeing situation is ridiculous. I don't know what got him there," Muller said in his statements to the club's official website, adding, "Playing against Real Madrid is always very strange, and it is unfortunate that this happens a lot in Madrid." The German star added about the controversial offside shot, “It is really strange what happened, in such a case, for the referee to whistle very quickly. But this often happens here in Madrid,” explaining, “I had an experience and I have experience in this matter a few years ago. With two goals, he was offside by Cristiano Ronaldo, but it was before VAR.”
