Ancelotti: Our Goal Is To Reach The Champions League Final

Italian Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid, confirmed that reaching the Champions League final is the goal of his players during their match against Bayern Munich, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the tournament.

The first leg between the two teams last Tuesday in Germany ended in a 2-2 draw .

Ancelotti said during the press conference for the match: “We will try to achieve the best result tomorrow, as is always the case in this type of match. We are very excited because we have the opportunity to reach another final, taking into account the many difficulties in the Champions League. We are good.” "We are very motivated and will try to do our best."

He added: "We and Bayern Munich are similar. They are two clubs with a great history and have achieved a lot of success. I think we respect each other because it is fair to do so. We have to respect the opponent because they performed well and were better than us in the first leg ."

He continued: "Lunin will play if I don't change my mind tonight. Yes, Lunin will play. Courtois played because he was very good and now he will have to take his time to reach his best version. The plans changed depending on the quality of the match. He played a perfect match against Cadiz." "But he has to reach his best level."

He continued: “I trust our situation because we are Real Madrid and we have this team. I trust the fan who will help us tomorrow. Today we have to enjoy and tomorrow we will be worried .”

Regarding his previous training at Bayern Munich, the Italian said: “It is an old story. I explain it in two ways. In the end, we have to do something, we have an idea and we have to get the support of the club, because if that is not the case, your work will not be good and when this support is not "It is better to separate, as happened at Bayern."
