Juventus Is Required To Pay 9.7 Million Euros To Ronaldo

An Italian court ruled on Wednesday that Italian club Juventus will have to pay approximately 10 million euros ($10.6 million) to former Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo. The court issued its decision in favor of Ronaldo, who now plays for the Saudi Al-Nasr team, after he filed a lawsuit against his former club due to a salary dispute during the Covid-19 pandemic, as the case relates to payments that were postponed during the 2020-2021 season. Many major football teams suffered financial losses due to the epidemic, and Ronaldo was among the players whose salary payments were postponed, but he later went to court and demanded about 20 million euros. Juventus stressed that Ronaldo voluntarily waived his salary at that time. Ronaldo played with Juventus between 2018 and 2021 before moving to Manchester United, then finally landing at Al-Nasr Club.
