Spanish press reports revealed, today, Tuesday, the scenes of the meeting between Barcelona officials and Rafaela Pimienta, the agent of Norwegian star Erling Haaland, Manchester City’s top scorer. The Catalan newspaper "Sport" reported that Barcelona officials held a meeting with the agent of the English Premier League top scorer in recent weeks, in order to analyze various issues in the Mercato, explaining that the session did not include any talk about Haaland's future at the present time. The newspaper added that the economic situation within Barcelona also does not allow them to dream of including Haaland either now or in the coming years. The newspaper indicated that the Catalan team is not ready to include a player who receives a huge salary like Haaland, in addition to the financial value of the deal, which exceeds Barcelona’s financial capabilities, especially in the recent period. Norwegian star Haaland has a release clause through which he can transfer to teams outside the English Premier League, which will decrease from 2026 to 175 million euros.
