History Of Al-Hilal And Al-Nasr Confrontations Before The Super Cup

Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in the UAE will host the fiery Riyadh derby, which brings together Al Hilal and Al Nassr, for the semi-final of the 2024 Saudi Super Cup. This will be the fifth confrontation between the two teams this season, as it began with Al Nassr’s victory in the final of the Arab Club Championship, then Al Hilal won. Three times against coach Luis Castro's battalion, back and forth in the Saudi League, and once in the Riyadh Season Cup. Al Hilal holds the record for winning the Saudi Super Cup, as it won the title 3 times in the 2015, 2018, and 2021 editions, while Al-Alamy won the title twice in the 2019 and 2020 editions. Al-Hilal had previously faced Al-Nasr in 174 matches in various official tournaments, and the leader prevailed with 68 victories, while Al-Alamy won 61 matches, and the Riyadh derby was decided in a tie 43 times. In the Saudi Super Cup, the two teams met twice and each of them won a match. In the Saudi League, the two teams met on 117 occasions, with Al-Hilal winning 43 matches, compared to 42 victories for Al-Alamy, and 32 matches were tied in 32 matches.
