Argentina Manager Scaloni optimistic on Lionel Messi condition against Brazil

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni has announced his opinion on the participation of legend Lionel Messi in the team's match against Brazil in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. Lionel Scaloni, coach of the Argentine national team, confirmed that Lionel Messi will likely be ready to face the Brazilian national team, despite being subjected to a frightening obstruction by Luis Martinez. Those who played against Venezuela didn't touch the ball on Friday."He added: "We will be 100% sure this evening. In principle, he is fine. There was fear, but things remained that way."
He continued: "Whoever plays, is an important competitor. We cannot under any circumstances reduce the match". He continued, "They enter the match with an amazing positive streak, and they are at the same level as whoever plays, and they have high-quality players in all positions." ...and he continued: "These are opponents who have amazing quality, amazing attacking power. If you're not ready for this, you can suffer. If you think an opponent can't hurt you, you're making a mistake.".
Coach Lionel Scaloni concluded: "We know that it can happen at some point, but we know what we can do when we have the ball. We are prepared for different circumstances. There are moments in the game, and you have to know what to do at all time. We are clear about what to do when we have the ball and we also know that the opponent plays.”
Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni said Lionel Messi is expected to suit up against Brazil when they square off in a key World Cup qualifier on Sunday September 5. Lionel Scaloni affirmed that Messi took a knock in Thursday's (September 2) qualifier against Venezuela which Argentina won 3-1, despite being subjected to a frightening obstruction by Luis Martinez.
"Leo is fine," Scaloni told his pre-match press conference. "It was a scare, but luckily he is fine. We will confirm his condition 100 per cent this afternoon, when we do field work.
We still haven't been able to do a training session with those who played against Venezuela. Today we will have everyone together. But the thought is that there will surely be some changes, especially considering how close the matches are and what the squad can do depending on the players. They (Brazil) are coming off an incredibly strong streak and have shown that they are up to the task, no matter who they play. They have players of enormous quality in every position. We will go into the match with utmost respect and our highest demands knowing they are at home and that we're playing a squad that has won seven games in a row. It is going to be extremely tough. Argentina beat Brazil in the final of the Copa America on July 10 in Rio de Janeiro and their win in Caracas extended their unbeaten run to 21 games. But the home side have won all seven of their qualifiers so far and lead the 10-team South American qualifying group by six points from their opponents. The top four teams qualify automatically for Qatar in 2022 but Scaloni said catching Brazil was not a priority.
