Everton Loses “89 Million Pounds”

The English Football Club Everton announced that its losses in the 2022-2023 season amounted to about double the losses recorded in the previous season. Everton recorded losses worth 89 million and 100 thousand pounds sterling, after its losses amounted to 44 million and 700 thousand pounds sterling in the 2021-2022 season. Everton confirmed the suspension of sponsorship deals with strategic commercial partners indefinitely, to mitigate the increasing loss. The English Premier League is scheduled to announce before April 8 the ruling issued against Everton in the incident of the club’s second accusation of violating the rules of sustainable profitability in the English Premier League. Everton faces the possibility of deducting new points from its balance after deducting 6 points from its balance earlier, due to the violations that occurred in the 2021-2022 season. Everton ranks sixteenth in the English Premier League table with 25 points, 3 points away from the relegation triangle.
