Spanish press reports revealed today, Tuesday, that Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez may change his mind regarding leaving as coach of the Catalan team at the end of the current 2023-2024 season. The Catalan newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that, so far, Xavi is still of the opinion not to stay, but he may change his mind, as the Spanish coach wants guarantees of the ability to make contracts at the highest level, as he gives priority to two major signings, Joshua Kimmich and Bernardo Silva. The newspaper added that Xavi does not want to spend another summer like last summer, making last-minute signings, explaining that if there is no guarantee of money to create a great team, there will be no option for the coach to stay regardless of how the season ends. The newspaper pointed out that Xavi always wanted to be able to compete for all titles, but not based on players aged 16, 17 or 18, regardless of how good they are.
