French star Kylian Mbappé reached goal number 250 with his team, Paris Saint-Germain, after scoring a hat-trick yesterday evening, Sunday, against Montpellier. French star Kylian Mbappé led his team, ARIS Saint-Germain, to achieve a major victory over Montpellier, 6-2, during the match that brought together the two teams on Sunday evening at the “Stade de la Moson” stadium, in the 26th round of the French League competition. Mbappe had the lion's share of the goals during that match, as he succeeded in scoring 3 goals (hat-tricks). Kylian Mbappe reached the 250th goal with Paris in all competitions in 297 matches, which is his 200th match in the French League. Kylian Mbappé became the first French player to score 24 goals after only 26 rounds in the league, since Just Fontaine in 1959/60. Paris Saint-Germain achieved its 350th victory away from home in the French League, becoming the fourth team to reach this number after Marseille, Monaco and Lyon. Paris Saint-Germain leads the French League table with 59 points, 12 points behind runner-up Brest Stadium, while Montpellier comes in 14th place with 26 points. Paris Saint-Germain succeeded in returning to victory in the French League Championship, after failing to achieve victory during the last 3 rounds of the local competition.
