Guardiola Is The King Of Cups!

Spaniard Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, entered the history of the FA Cup, after leading his team to victory over Newcastle in the quarter-finals. City easily qualified for the semi-finals of the competition thanks to two goals scored by Bernardo Silva, becoming the first team to reach the semi-finals for the sixth consecutive season. City reached the FA Cup semi-finals in seven out of eight seasons under Guardiola. The only time they failed to reach Wembley was when they were knocked out by Wigan Athletic in 2018. City have won the competition twice under the Catalan, thrashing Watford 6-0 in the 2019 final and beating Manchester United last year on their way to winning the historic treble. Guardiola reached the semi-finals of the major domestic cup in 13 out of 15 seasons as coach. He led Barcelona to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey in three out of four seasons in Spain (winning it twice), reached the semi-finals of the German Cup three consecutive times with Bayern Munich (lifting the cup twice) and seven out of eight with City, and also won the Cup. Premier League for four consecutive years with City between 2018 and 2021.
