Kane Threatens Rooney's Historic Record In The Champions League

English star Harry Kane led his German team, Bayern Munich, to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, after defeating his Italian counterpart, Lazio, 3-0, in the second leg of the 16th round. Harry Kane scored Bayern Munich's first and third goals against Italian Lazio, raising his number of goals in the history of the Champions League to 27 goals. The Opta network said that Kane has become the second English player to score the most goals in the Champions League, with 27 goals, on par with Raheem Sterling, the current Chelsea star. It was stated that Wayne Rooney holds the record for the most goals scored by an English player in the history of the competition, with 30 goals.
