Mohamed Salah Joins A Historic List In The Premier League

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's top scorer, joined a historic list in the English Premier League competition, after scoring a goal in his team's victory over Brentford today. Liverpool defeated its host, Brentford, by four goals to one, in the match that brought them together today, Saturday, in the twenty-fifth round of the English Premier League. Mohamed Salah was able to score one goal and assist another during the match, contributing to his team’s great victory. According to the Opta network, Mohamed Salah scored one goal and assisted another in 30 different matches in the English Premier League. The global network added that only Wayne Rooney (36), Thierry Henry (32) and Alan Shearer (31) have done this more times in the history of the competition. Liverpool strengthened its lead in the English Premier League standings with 57 points, while Brentford's score stopped at 25 points in fourteenth place.
