An English press report stated that Liverpool has set its sights on a new player, to compensate for the possible departure of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah. Salah's contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2025, amid news that the Jeddah Football Association wants to include him next summer, for 235 million euros, the most expensive deal in the history of football. According to the English Football Insider network, Liverpool wants to sign the Portuguese international, Pedro Neto, a Wolverhampton winger, and the report explained that Liverpool includes Neto on the list of candidates, to compensate for the possible departure of Salah. The network indicated that Neto performed at very distinguished levels this season in the Premier League, and if he moves to Liverpool, he will be the best compensation for Salah. Liverpool is preparing to make an offer worth 60 million pounds, to obtain the services of the Portuguese winger.
