The contract for the qualifiers for the round of sixteen of the African Cup of Nations, which is currently being hosted by Côte d'Ivoire, has been completed, after the group stage competitions concluded on Wednesday evening with the last two confrontations in Group Six between the teams of Morocco and Zambia, and Tanzania against the Democratic Republic of the Congo. 16 teams succeeded in reserving their place in the quarter-finals of the African Nations 2023, including 6 of the top teams in the groups and the same number of runners-up, in addition to the 4 best teams in third place in the six groups in the tournament. The list of qualifiers for the round of sixteen of the African Cup of Nations was as follows:
Group A: Equatorial Guinea - Nigeria - Côte d'Ivoire
