Football fans around the world are awaiting the 2023 The Best in the World Awards ceremony, which is being held by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), this Monday evening in the British capital, London. The trio: Norwegian Erling Haaland, Manchester City striker, Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, Paris Saint-Germain top scorer, and Argentine Lionel Messi, American captain of Inter Miami, are competing for the 2023 World Player of the Year award. FIFA launched The Best awards starting in 2016 when it separated from the magazine. The famous French “France Football”, which includes many awards, most notably the best male and female player, coach, goalkeeper and goalkeeper.
