Ramos Reaches A Historic Achievement In The Champions League

Sergio Ramos, the star of the Spanish team Sevilla, achieved a historic achievement in the Champions League, after scoring his team's only goal, in the loss to France's Lens, by two goals to one, in the sixth and final round of the group stage. Sevilla bid farewell to the Champions League, after finishing at the bottom of the second group, with two points, while Arsenal, the English club, and PSV Eindhoven, the Netherlands, qualified for the final 16 of the competition, while Lance will go to play in the European League. The Opta network said that Ramos has become the most goals-scoring defensive player in the history of the Champions League, with 17 goals, surpassing Gerard Pique, Roberto and Carlos, with 16 goals. Ramos scored Sevilla's only Spanish goal against French club Verbalance, via a penalty kick.
