The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, is expected to attend KSU Stadium on Tuesday to watch the match between Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia and Qatar Al-Duhail in the third round of the group stage in the AFC Champions League. Infantino's presence at Al-Nasr vs. Al-Duhail came after he was present at King Fahd International Stadium and watched Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Mumbai of India, in the same tournament. Al-Nassr will host Al Duhail at the KSU Stadium in the AFC Champions League (ACL) group stage on Tuesday, October 24. The host has enjoyed a 100 percent record in the competition, while Al Duhail is winless in its two games thus far. In its last ACL outing, Al-Nassr cruised past Istiklol with a 3-1 home win courtesy of second-half goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Talisca. Al Duhail, in its last match, drew against Istiklol in its campaign opener before losing 1-0 at home to Persepolis. Talisca and Ronaldo were on the scoresheet again in Al-Nassr’s last match in the Saudi Pro League, where it recorded a 2-1 comeback win over Damac on Friday. Al-Duhail, meanwhile, won 2-0 at Al Gharafa in the Qatari Stars Cup last week. Infantino's visit to Saudi Arabia during the current period included his presence in several activities and events, where he attended the New World Sports Conference, which was hosted by the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Riyadh with the participation of more than 300 leaders of the gaming, e-sports, and sports sectors, and he witnessed dialogue sessions with senior executives and experts. The President of FIFA spoke in a dialogue session within the seventh edition of the Future Investment Initiative, which began its work under the title “The New Compass” in Riyadh, with the participation of 6,000 participants from 90 countries, and 500 speakers from different sectors.
