Does Casemiro 'regret' joining Man United with club? - Paper Talk

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro "has regrets" over leaving Real Madrid for the Old Trafford club. "A report from El Nacional now outlines how the Brazilian, who has a long-term deal at United, is now regretting his switch from Madrid a year ago," the outlet states. Casemiro regrets ever signing for the club with Erik ten Hag already planning for life after the Brazilian, according to a worrying new report. Manchester United signed Casemiro in the 2022 summer transfer period, after signing him from Real Madrid for an amount of 70 million euros. The Red Devils brought the 31-year-old to Old Trafford in the summer of 2022, with Manchester United striking a huge £70m deal with Real Madrid for his services. Although he wasn’t their first-choice signing – United had previously spent weeks chasing Frenkie de Jong before then turning their attention to Adrien Rabiot – the Brazilian has shown his class and proved an excellent addition to their engine room. While three red cards for the club have blotted his copybook, the 11 goals in 62 appearances he has scored for United have shown a side to his game that many perhaps did not expect when he first arrived at Old Trafford. One of those goals came in the Carabao Cup final as United beat Newcastle 2-0 to lift their first piece of silverware in six seasons. For a player used to winning multiple titles at Real Madrid, Casemiro will have seen that trophy – together with their third-placed finish and return to the Champions League – as the first step towards restoring the club to greatness. Casemiro has won one title with Manchester United so far, which was the English Football League Cup (Carabao Cup) last season.
