Furious Ancelotti blasts Madrid-Seville referee and narrowly escaped the penalty!

Real Madrid manager Italian Carlo Ancelotti is famous for being cool under pressure, but the Italian was evidently feeling the heat after watching his team draw 1-1 with host Seville in La Liga. Ancelotti refuses to criticize the referee after an entertaining draw against Sevilla. La Liga leaders were held to a 1-1 draw against Sevilla on Saturday night at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan. David Alaba scored an own goal, but Dani Carvajal rescued one point for the Los Blancos. Real Madrid scored twice inside eight minutes through Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham, but the referee ruled out both goals. After the match against Sevilla, Ancelotti sarcastically said the referee, Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea, had a good performance and all of his decisions were correct. “I liked his performance. It was a competitive match with a lot of duels, and I think he got all of them right. It’s not ironic, I’m very serious. At the end of the game, I asked him why he cautioned me. I wasn’t talking to him, I was talking to Camavinga.” However, Ancelotti told Real Madrid TV that he can’t say what he really thinks about the referee’s performance. “Irony is the only way. Because if I say what I really think (about the refereeing), I’ll get a lot of games (of suspension). What I like most is sitting on the Real Madrid bench, so, to avoid suspensions, I decided to not say what I think. So I use irony.”
