Leipzig extends Campbell's contract until 2026
German football club Leipzig announced a new contract extension with midfielder Kevin Campbell until 2026. Campbell's previous contract was supposed to expire next year. Campbell has been in Leipzig since 2017 and won two German Cup titles with him during that period. The player said: “What I have experienced here since 2017 is something unique." I have said it repeatedly: Leipzig is my club. My family and I feel that the city is our home, and I love being here. “He is a special person, and he uses his experience to help the team and the young team members,” said sporting director Reuven Schröder. In addition, he is a leader on the field and his passion for the club, the city, and the fans is an essential bond for all of us.”
