Postage stamps features iconic venues all aspects of Qatar eight World Cup stadiums

The Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) announced the second release of official FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️ postage stamps, as part of a series of publications which documents the most prominent achievements of the most prominent stages of hosting Qatar for the next edition of the World Cup.
This announcement comes within the framework of cooperation between the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), and Qatar Post, which is the official provider of postage stamps for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️.
The stamps feature the dramatic colours and designs of the brand and bring to life Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Lusail Stadium, Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, Al Janoub Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Education City Stadium, and Al Bayt Stadium.
Engineer Yassir Al-Jammal, Head of the Operations Office and and Vice-President of the Technical Office for Projects at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy,, said: “We are proud to see the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️ stadiums designs bonded in a set of postage stamps. We are sure that fans and philatelic collectors will enjoy this collection that celebrates the World Cup stadiums, the first in the Middle East and the Arab world.”
Faleh Mohammad Al Naemi, Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Post said: “We are pleased to present to the world a set of stamps for the FIFA World Cup stadiums. These distinctive and uniquely designed masterpieces are inspired by our authentic Qatari heritage and rich culture.”
Al Naemi further added: "This edition, featuring the eight stadiums that will host the tournament matches, highlight the stadiums’ aesthetics and high-end architecture. We are proud to cooperate with FIFA and the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy to launch this series of editions, which falls within the Qatar Post programme to document all events, occasions and preparations related to hosting the most-anticipated and the biggest football tournament in the world.”
The cooperation between the Supreme Committee, Qatar Post and FIFA reflects the three institutions’ keenness to document various aspects of Qatar’s hosting of the World Cup, most notably building the tournament’s stadiums according to the best architectural standards, and using the latest technologies in this field, especially since the designs of those World Cup edifices embody Qatari culture and Arab identity.
The French Cartier Press will print a set of stamps of the FIFA World Cup 2022™️ stadium stamp, which will be sold to the public for QAR 28. As a first stage, 20,000 copies, 2,000 first-day-issue envelopes, 3,000 postcards and 2,000 folders have been printed.
It is noteworthy that Qatar Post will continue to issue postage stamps to celebrate all stages of preparation for hosting the World Cup, highlighting the rich heritage and rich history of Qatar in football development.
Earlier this year, Qatar Post launched the first edition of the official postage stamp for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️, distinguished by being the first in the history of Qatari stamp issuance in the form of a map of the State of Qatar, bearing the official logo of the tournament.
