Press reports revealed that Riyadh, formerly known as Hajr al-Yamamah, the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia, will host the Italian Super Cup, with a 4-team format in Saudi Arabia next season next January. Sky Network reported that the Italian Super Cup will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah on January 21 and 22, 2024, between four teams: Lazio, Inter, Napoli, and Fiorentina, and the final will be on the 25 of the same month. Inter will meet Lazio, while Napoli will face Fiorentina, and the winner of each match will qualify for the final match. Inter Milan won the last edition of the Italian Super Cup, after beating its rival Milan 3-0 in Saudi Arabia, using the old system of one match between the league champion and the cup champion.
