The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) was aptly named Lionel Messi the Best Player award of the Tournament in Copa America 2021, which concluded Early Sunday in Brazil with Argentina crowning the title after leading Brazil by a single goal.

Messi won the cup's best player award and being top scorer in this version as well.
Also, Argentina winger Angel Di Maria, who scored the all-important winner in the 22nd minute, was named the Man of the Match in the final. 
Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez was adjudged the best goalkeeper at the Copa America and was presented with the Golden Glove. 
As for the Brazilian Thiago Silva, he won the award for the best defender in the Copa America 2021, after he shown a high performance throughout the tournament.
