Xavi Hernandez, Barcelona's Spanish coach, played his centenary match in his coaching career with the Catalan team, after he led them to victory over their Portuguese counterpart, Porto, with a goal to none, in the confrontation that was held on Wednesday , in the second round of the group stage of the Champions League competition. The team has amassed 63 wins and 191 goals in his first 100 games in charge Six years after leaving as a player, it was on 20 November 2021 that Xavi Hernández took charge of the FC Barcelona first team for the first time in a derby against Espanyol, winning it 1-0. The team hadn't got off to the best of starts, lying ninth in the table after 13 games, but under the new coach, there was soon a change for the better. Now against FC Porto, he will be taking the main seat in the dugout for the 100th time, having amassed 63 wins, 18 draws, and just 19 defeats (and none in the present season), with his side scoring 191 goals and conceding 95, collecting the Spanish Super Cup and La Liga trophies on the way.  The Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that Xavi Hernandez became the 11th coach in the history of Barcelona to reach 100 matches as technical director with the club. Xavi has led Barcelona in 100 matches in all tournaments since he took over the team in November 2021 until now.
