Despite his return to Real Madrid's squad, Vinicius will miss Atletico Derby

Real Madrid FC announced that attacker Vinicius Jr. returned for this weekend's La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid, manager Carlo Ancelotti said on Saturday. Real Madrid announced the absence of its Brazilian star, Vinicius Junior, from facing its neighbor, Atletico Madrid, in the derby, scheduled for Sunday evening, at the top of the sixth round of the Spanish League. A Real Madrid statement indicated that Brazilian Vinicius Junior will miss Atletico Derby on Sunday, due to suffering from inflammation of the stomach and intestines, and he was excluded from the team’s squad.

Real Madrid's squad came as follows:

Goalkeepers: Lunin, Kepa, Fran.

Defenders: Alaba, Nacho, Lucas Vazquez, Fran Garcia, Rudiger and Mendy.

Midfielders: Bellingham, Kroos, Modric, Camavinga, Valverde, Chouamini and Ceballos.

Forwards: Rodrigo, Joselu and Brahim Diaz.
