FC Barcelona announced on Wednesday that the club has reached an agreement for a period of 5 and extended contract, which the player Alejandro Balde has which will take the player through to 30 June 2028. The buyout clause is set to feature provisions valued at $1 billion to deter prospective suitors. The signing of the new contract for the youth team product will take place on Thursday 21 September at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. With his contract extension signed, Alejandro Balde consolidates his position at left back in the first team. After arriving at Barça in 2011 as an eight-year-old, Balde quickly raced through the age categories in the FC Barcelona youth teams.  In the 2020/21 season, he began to make his first appearances in the first team, making his debut in a friendly against Nàstic de Tarragona in preseason.  Balde succeeded in shining with Barcelona,  securing a key position in the team, especially with the decline of Jordi Alba, who left this summer to Inter Miami in the United States.
