French PSG crossed paths with Dortmund in the Champions League Opener

Kylian Mbappé scored to lead Paris Saint-Germain to a 2-0 victory over its guest, Borussia Dortmund, in the opening of their Champions League campaign. Mbappe was on form again as Paris Saint-Germain kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 2-0 home victory over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday showing glimpses of what might be under new coach Luis Enrique. Mbappe opened the scoring with a second-half penalty and Achraf Hakimi doubled the tally with a fine goal as PSG’s patience paid off at the Parc des Princes. This is the third victory in six matches in all competitions for the French champion this season. This triumph will ease the pressure on PSG after the defeat in the league at the beginning of this week. Paris Saint-Germain leads Group F with six points, two points ahead of Milan and Newcastle United, who are tied 0-0.
