Villarreal boss becomes First La Liga manager sacked off 

Villarreal FC has become the first club to sack their manager in La Liga this season dismissing Quique Setien after just four matches, which have seen the Yellow Submarine pick up one win and three defeats. Villarreal decided on Tuesday to dismiss Quique Setien from his post after only 4 rounds had passed since the start of the current season of the Spanish League. A Villarreal statement said: “Kiki Setién is no longer a member of the entity. The club highlights his great professionalism and commitment and appreciates him and his coaching staff for taking the lead in a complex situation last season.” The statement added: “Under the leadership of coach Setién, the team had a great season, promoting several young players from the youth squad, and qualified for the Europa League after reaching fifth place in La Liga. Villarreal would like to thank Setién for his work and participation and wish him good luck.” in his athletic career. He concluded, "The club's director of football, Miguel Angel Tena, will assume his position temporarily and will run the team's session tomorrow, Wednesday." Setien led the Yellow Submarines team, in 39 matches in various competitions, winning 18, drawing 6, and losing 15 matches. Under his leadership, the team scored 72 matches and conceded 54 goals.
