Salah posts a social media picture with no caption

With speculation growing about his future with Liverpool, the star of the Egyptian national team and Liverpool, Mohamed Salah, made a sound of silence by posting a cryptic social media picture with no caption as Al-Ittihad tried and lure the Liverpool star to Saudi Arabia with audacious £200m bid. Salah posted the picture of himself celebrating his goal in Liverpool's 3-0 victory over Aston Villa in the English Premier League, but - mysteriously - he did not provide any comment accompanying the picture on his account on the platform. "X". Mohamed Salah has taken to social media as speculation swirls about his Liverpool future - but it was just the sound of silence from the Egyptian. Despite Salah's Anfield teammates insisting he was committed to Liverpool after the game, Al-Ittihad could yet further test the club's resolve to keep him. The Reds have already rejected an offer of £150m last week but that hasn't deterred the Saudi clubs, who have already signed Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, and Liverpool's Fabinho this summer.  Salah scored Liverpool's third of the afternoon in a comfortable win over Villa after Dominik Szoboszlai set them on their way and Matty Cash put through his own net. Afterward, Andy Robertson insisted he was not concerned about Salah, 31, leaving in the closing few days of the Saudi window. Salah scored 30 goals in all competitions for Liverpool last season. Salah also signed a new three-year contract last summer, making him the highest-paid player in Liverpool's history. Liverpool has already witnessed the departure of a number of players to Saudi Arabia, as Jordan Henderson relinquished the leadership of the club to join Stephen Gerrard in the agreement, while Fabinho went to Al-Ittihad Jeddah and Roberto Firmino to Al-Ahly. With Liverpool, Salah won the Champions League, the English Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup, the Club World Cup, and the European Super Cup. Salah also won the Golden Boot award in the English Premier League three times and won the title of best player in England twice.
