German and Barcelona's Spanish Andre Ter Stegen continues his distinguished levels with the Catalan team after he managed to score a clean sheet in the first two rounds of the Spanish League competition in the new season 2023-2024 against Getafe and Cadiz.
"Mundo Deportivo" stated that Ter Stegen tops the list of the best goalkeepers in Europe during the current year 2023, as he is considered the most clean sheet goalkeeper with 17 matches out of a total of 25 matches he has played so far.  Ter Stegen with the most clean sheets and fewest goals conceded across Europe's leading leagues in 2023. The newspaper added that the German goalkeeper kept his net clean in 68% of the matches with Barcelona, to surpass his closest goalkeeper in the standings, who is Lazio's goalkeeper Prodel, who scored (50%). The newspaper pointed out that Ter Stegen is also considered the goalkeeper who conceded the least goals in Europe this year, as the German goalkeeper conceded 12 goals during his participation in 25 matches with Barcelona in 2023.
