A historic record for Allegri with Juventus
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri set a new record with the Old Lady, after leading his team to victory in the first kick-off in Calcio. Juventus succeeded in achieving its first victory in the Italian League, defeating Udinese 3-0 on Sunday in the first round of the Calcio.
According to the Italian website "Toto Mercato", Juventus' victory is historic for Allegri, as he reached his 250th victory as coach of the old lady. He is also the only coach in Italian football history to have won five Scudetti and four Coppa Italia titles consecutively, and the only one in Europe's top five leagues to have won a domestic double for four consecutive seasons. During his tenure at Juventus, from 2014 until now, Allegri led the team in 380 matches, winning 250 of them. Allegri is the second most successful coach in the history of Juventus, behind Giovanni Trapattoni, who won 319 wins from 596 matches, during his tenure as coach of the Bianconeri. Juventus finished last season in seventh place in the Italian League standings table with 62 points, while Udinese ranked twelfth with 46 points.
