Messi described Inter Miami to its first-ever title as 'spectacular' 

The Argentine star, Lionel Messi, made a promise to his American Inter Miami fans, after winning the League Cup, the first title in the club’s history, which was established in 2018.  Lionel Messi described the chance of helping Inter Miami to its first-ever title as 'spectacular' just hours before the Leagues Cup final.  It has only been a month since the World Cup winner's arrival at the MLS club but has already guided them to a final.  David Beckham's club faces Nashville at Geodis Park stadium Saturday night, with the chance to lift its first-ever trophy.  "It's pretty surreal and very emotional. This team works so hard day in and day out, and to have it come down to the very end... it's amazing to see the grit and the belief. It's something special and I'm blessed to be part of it." Messi was crowned top scorer in the League Cup competition with 10 goals scored in seven matches. The Argentine star won the best player award in the tournament.
