Verratti is a new blockbuster for the Saudi Roshen League, but not Al-Hilal - Reports
Italian press reports revealed that Marco Verratti the central midfielder for PSG has reached a contractual agreement with Al-Ahli Jeddah, the current leader of the Saudi Pro League after two short days. The Jeddah-based club, which has already achieved a major transfer window by recruiting Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino and more recently Merih Demiral, now hopes to convince the capital club, which had already refused a first check offered for 30 million euros. According to the Corriere della Sera newspaper, Al-Ahly agreed with Marco Verratti on personal terms with a contract until 2026. The Saudi club is trying to reach an agreement with PSG which requests 60 million euros to sell the player. Earlier, French press reports had indicated that Paris St Germain, former Barcelona and Spain coach Luis Enrique, had informed Verratti that he was out of his squad in the new season. The 30-year-old Italian star joined PSG in the summer of 2012 from Pescara, Italy. Verratti played 416 matches with his team across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 61 assists.
