A press report revealed on Tuesday that Paris Saint-Germain could rival to seal a new deal for Barcelona's younger midfielder Spanish star Javi during the current summer transfer period. The Catalan newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that PSG targets to sign Javi in the current summer Mercato, adding that PSG through mediators had requested Barcelona officials if they wanted to sell the 19-year-old player. The newspaper added that the option of leaving Javi was not discussed at all within Barcelona, as the club believes that the player is one of the best talents and the most valuable players in the squad. The newspaper pointed out that Javi is the present and future of Barcelona, and he was not dispensed with in all cases.  explaining that this is the dominant idea within the Catalan team recently, despite the admiration of Luis Enrique, coach of PSG, in the way the young star played, and his wonderful relationship with the player’s agent.
