Man City earmarked Brighton winger as a potential replacement for Mahrez

English press reports revealed that Manchester City hopes to make Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma their next summer signing, Manchester United is yet to make an official bid for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, while Tottenham may succeed in keeping Harry Kane away from Bayern Munich.  Manchester City have earmarked Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma as a potential replacement for Riyad Mahrez, according to reports by the “Sun” newspaper. The newspaper stated that City was ready to pay 50 million pounds to sign the Japanese player, whose contract with Brighton expires in 2025. Last season, Mitoma played 41 matches with Brighton in various competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 8 assists.
