Senegalese international and Liverpool football star Sadio Mane has donated have donated a large sum of money to help fund the construction of a hospital in his hometown of Bambali in Senegal. 
The Senegalese international, Sadio Mane, the Liverpool winger, is always keen to finance projects in his country, specifically in the village of Bambali, where the Reds top scorer grew up there.
Mane has previously built projects in his hometown, where he built a school, and also owns a supermarket named after him.
According to “Daily Mirror", the British national daily tabloid-sized newspaper  , Mane, after his presence in Senegal, to participate in two friendly matches, went to the presidential palace in Dakar to meet with his country's president earlier this month to discuss the project, which will include departments for maternity care, dental facilities and consulting rooms.
The newspaper said that, in addition to speaking in football, Mane decided to donate more than (£450,000) pounds to help fund the construction of a hospital in his hometown of Bambali in Senegal. 
The newspaper quoted a statement from the Senegalese presidency, saying: “President Macky Sall received international player Sadio Mane on Thursday, as the Liverpool social worker came to exchange with the Head of State on his social actions including the construction of a Hospital in Bambali. He has requested assistance from the State for medical staff.
For its part, the Spanish newspaper "AS" reported that this hospital will serve 34 villages near Mane's hometown in Senegal.
Mane also commented on the matter and said, "This hospital was made possible by you, and it is for you."
