Chelsea has officially signed young French midfielder talent Leslie Ogochukwu from Rennes on a seven-year deal until 2030. Chelsea FC issued an official statement stating, “The 19-year-old player joins Chelsea on a seven-year contract with the club having the option to extend the contract for another additional year.” Born in March 2004, Ogochukwu made 60 appearances for the first team at the French club Rennes in all competitions, during which he scored a goal and made the same. Chelsea Manager Mauricio Pochettino commented on signing the young French player, saying, "Today will be his first training session with us. He is a young and talented player. We do not know if he will play against Dortmund. We need to evaluate him."
