Official: Barcelona confirms the transfer of Gonzalez to FC Porto

Barcelona FC has Officially announced the transfer of midfielder Nico González to Porto on a loan until the end of the season. Barcelona confirmed in a statement on its official website: “FC Barcelona and Porto have reached an agreement to transfer Nico Gonzalez for a deal worth €8.5 million to the Catalan club and the Galician has signed with the Portuguese side for five seasons, until 2028.  The statement added, “The Blaugrana club reserves a percentage of the player’s future sale and the right to buy back.” The statement continued: “FC Barcelona publicly expresses its gratitude to Nico Gonzalez for his commitment and dedication and wishes him success and achievements in the future.” Midfielder Nico Gonzalez played 37 matches with Barcelona in all official competitions, succeeded in scoring two goals, and providing two assists in his career with Barcelona.
