Liverpool stance on selling Luis Diaz to Saudi Al-Hilal

English press reports revealed Liverpool's stance on selling Luis Diaz to Saudi Arabia during the current summer transfers. Al-Hilal had submitted an offer of 50 million euros to sign Luis Diaz, who joined Liverpool in January 2022 from Porto for 45 million euros.
According to the English newspaper “The Athletic”, the Anfield club is not interested in selling one of their key attacking players and there has been no indication that the 26-year-old is interested in the move. Diaz is set to be an important part of Jurgen Klopp's plans this season as he looks to bounce back from the 2022-23 campaign which was hampered by injuries. The Colombian winger has played 47 matches with Liverpool in all competitions since joining, and Diaz scored 11 goals and provided 8 assists for his teammates. At the same time, Liverpool is preparing to dispense with the Brazilian international, Fabinho, the midfielder, to the Saudi Jeddah Federation, for 40 million euros. The Reds do not want to give up captain Jordan Henderson for free as the Suadi Al-Ettifaq club, led by Stephen Gerrard, aims to sign the midfielder. Liverpool wants 20 million pounds to let the English star leave.
