Aubameyang joins French Marseille on a 3-year deal 

According to Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has agreed to join Marseille from Chelsea. The Gabonese forward is set to switch from West London to the South of France with no transfer fee exchanged between the clubs. Gabonese star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Chelsea striker, agreed to join French Olympique de Marseille, to finally leave the Blues after a very bad period. Aubameyang will sign a three-year deal with OM, lasting until 2026. The former Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund forward is set to arrive at Marseille’s training camp on Wednesday evening in Germany. The 34-year-old will then undergo medical tests on Thursday before completing his move and being unveiled as a new player for Les Olympiens.  The Gabon captain has been out of favor with the Blues since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, with the man who brought him to the club, Thomas Tuchel, sacked straight after his debut. Aubameyang has attracted from the MLS and Saudi Arabia in the past but will make a return to France with OM. The forward is back in Ligue 1, after last playing for Saint-Étienne in 2013. Aubameyang did not get regular playing opportunities last season, which led to him being linked to the move to quit Chelsea.
