Barcelona confirmed on its official website that the club signed a contract with Oriol Romeo as the player will sign contract with the Club for the next three seasons, until 30 June 2026, and his buyout clause is set at 400 million euros. The statement added that Barca will soon reveal Oriol Romeo's first appearance to the fans and the media as a new player in Barcelona. Romeo is considered a graduate of the Barcelona youth sector and participated with the first team under the leadership of Guardiola before his departure from the team, and he is now 31 years old.
